Jack Abramoff's dirty laundry makes an appearance ten minutes in and is the closing argument. However, aren't the very expemptions in the current bill were what Mr. Abramoff trying to protect? If I'm wrong...tell me so - not the first time.

its just a taste of how government works. truth and facts don't matter, its all about trying to make yourself look good. Goodlatte's entire argument were things that you could argue against gambling in general and are completely non-specific to internet gambling, but you'll never see them attack things like state lotteries or indian casinos.

off-topic, this minimum wage argument is also [censored] stupid

Meanwhile, the Democrats' main argument against the legislation appears to be, simply, that there are more important matters to address.

That is not encouraging.

No...they are debating the priorities of the house. Their issue is that the more important issue of the minimum wage trumps the issue of the Internet Gambling Act and that the current calendar doesn't allow a quality consideration of a livable wage because the valuable time is being taken up by the Interent Gambling Ban.

Those who live in Mr. Miller's district should really make sure he is re-elected.
