what hobbs said is good, but that's what i genereally think anyways, but after i datamined a whole bunch, what do i look for at a table as far as vpip? what kind of people do i put on my buddy list? etc....

[/ QUOTE ] good table selection involves jumping around at times and there is no way around it. vpip probably depends on limit, so it may vary; but i like passivity as much as a really loose table. and put the fish on your buddy list and search for them before you play, get on the waiting list to their tables. presto. i'm going to my "second" job now so i'll check back later. peace.

I'll just add that table selection doesn't only mean selecting the best games at your particular limit in your particular game. Sometimes playing a different limit or playing a different game (NL hold'em, Omaha, etc) will be best.
