I've seen "new" posters make 500 posts in a few days. Dead springs to mind.

I made a similar suggestion in this thread several months ago in BBV. I think you'll find my solution simple, yet elegant.

Personally I've always been under the opinion that people with less than 4198 posts shouldn't be allowed to post.
