The presence of the fanny-pack really makes me want to bet, but I think you have to check this river.

Because it's live, without any reads that villain is capable of making moves, we have to assume we are likely behind on the turn. Thus, I'm really not convinced by 3-betting turn.

Bet. I'd 3 bet the turn.

That would have been my choice of action as well.

I don't know what the ruling at the Wynn is but if it's 'first in position shows hand' and not 'last agressor' then this is a great time to perhaps lose 60 dollars but gain a ton of information about what your opponent c-raises the turn and then checks scare cards with.

Against a shlubby 45-year old at the Wynn, I'd check behind more often than I would against a younger player at Commerce. The Wynn player is more likely to fold Q-T and to check K-Q.

Besides this being a sign that you have been playing in AC too much, what are you getting at? If the river goes check/check, he'll show 1st under either house rule. If you bet, you show 1st. So what $60 you talking about, calling the turn c/r?

As to the hand, I'm in the check behind on the river camp against most players of this type. If he was making a move and FOS, he would have followed through on the river. It sure looks like a weakie type hand; he had you beat on the turn, but freaked out when the flush hit.

My mistake he'll show either way. The 60 dollars was in reference to the times you bet and are called and your hand is good, (you lose the 60 when you don't.)

My point was to make note of what hand check-raises and then checks the river.

The fact that a consensus has emerged that we should 3-bet the turn but check the river is fairly amusing.
