Anyone fancy a normal stealraise and fold to push? Or just a fold?

[/ QUOTE ]

Get the demo version of SNPGPT and read the 1st tutorial. It will explain really well why "normal stealraise" is bad (= non optimal) here.

If BB is calling with 44+,A7s+,A9o+,KJs+, SNGPT says push any 2.

What is hero's move if UTG and BB would change places with each other with the OP's read?

[/ QUOTE ]

Pushing would be out of the question since the blinds are 100/200 and you would both have over 4000 chips. You would just have to make a normal play I guess (I would probably just complete).

What about if we only have 2000 chips?

[/ QUOTE ]

It doesn't really change things at all. Still push any 2 per SNGPT.

With 2000 it is still the same. However, with 3500 I would not push any two.

Two things you aren't considering if you push like 83o here and get called, nobody will respect any of your pushes for the rest of the SNG. By constantly pushing any 2 here you are asking the villian to spite call.

Edit: You are also ignoring the possibility that villian is calling wider here. If I were BB and knew SB was a 2p2er I would be calling somewhere around 22+ A2+ K9s+ KTs+ QJs,

give people ranges.

put data into sngpt.

answer is right. end discussion.

(while there are metagame issues, they're hardly likely to make much difference at a $22 speed)
