Lethal Weapon and Braveheart, can't really decide between the two as they're completely different genres and I enjoy them both.

My answer, except replace 'Braveheart' with 'Maverick' and 'completely different genres' with 'entertaining'.

KKF - this is a tough choice for me, since I am a pretty big Mel fan.

For acting, I'll go with "The Road Warrior". For directing, "Braveheart".

I know an idiot with a Pulitzer Prize that liked the movie. It was a pretty effective piece of filmmaking for what it was. The only people who really hated it were the pc popinjays who had a political axe to grind and inferred some kind of anti-semitic subtext (one reviewer was offended that the Jewish leadership was portrayed by people that "looked Jewish"). A few were also offended by the fetishized brutality, but that happens to be a part of the iconography. Anyhow, I didn't love the film, but if KKF was joking (and I think he was), he could have come up with a better punchline.
