Bourne is a young Jack Bauer...but Jack has a liftime of ass kicking expierence...so Bauer > Bourne.
Also Jack Bauer has died mutliple times yet he is still kicking ass... Jack Bauer > Grim Reaper

If you're just talking about Bourne's incarnation on the big screen, Jack prob wins. If you're talking Ludlum's original character in the books...it's Bourne and not even close.

Who the hell is voting for Jason Bourne? This poll should not be close, but it's not even on the right side. Jason Bourne is not even on the same level of badassedness as Jack Bauer, and never will be.

I voted Bourne just because if he was some guy at a bar you'd look at him and be like 'yeah I can kick his ass' and then he would kill you. Bauer on the other hand you wouldn't mess with in the first place. That element of surprise and the fact that Bourne's skills are hidden are way cooler IMO.

FWIW, Jason did beat me in a battle to the death once, but as someone already noted I > Grim Reaper. And Jason doesn't know I'm still alive...

In the movies its Bourne versus the world and I think he has more training then Bauer. Bauer has the government on his side which is where part of his badassedness comes from. Would Bauer be just as good alone. I think not. Bourne may not ooze the badass persona but thats part of what makes him such a badass.
