Video game question - Fight Night 2 or 3?

If you don't have an XBOX 360 with the HD hookups, you probably don't need FN3. FN2's music is better also.

That said, I <3 FN3 on my XBOX 360.

For those not liking the slowness of FN3, play as a featherweight. Much faster flurries of punches. Also, the fights often go longer, as fewer stun/KO shots get landed.
