I wear earplugs and wake up to an alarm every day. Just make sure your alarm clock is near enough and loud enough that you can hear it through the plugs.

Forgot to add...

When I lived on the fringe of campus, I lived under the same circumstances (7AM construction of a non-campus building).

Sabotage is the way to go...my buddy drove some piece of construction equipment into a nearby ravine.

Construction company left keys in ignition=pwnage

This sounds pretty serious...I was talking about something a bit tamer (cutting an ignition wire or something just so they can't get it started). However I am not a criminal and wouldn't touch someone else's property.

Nice. I need this becasue earplugs fall out when you sleep. But how do you dowload this mp3? I just get a giant player on the screen.

Also, I find it hard to believe your friend could take one of these machines during non-working hours and drive it un-noticed (my initial problem: these things are so got-damn loud) into a ravine. This seems like a pretty dumb crime, surely people would notice him in the act.

What's up with OOT today? Complaints about 7am construction noise and boners at work? [censored], you are our last hope.
