Brazil-France is on current form a lot closer than most people seem to think.

Apparently you don't bet on the games, or you'd know this wasn't true.

Brazilian defence = horrid.

lol.... if you consider giving up one goal all WC "horrid", especially considering the teams they play are constantly trying to come back from early defecits.

If we have any gamblers out there , here are my picks for the quarterfinal matches:

1 unit on Ukraine +1 -128
1/4 unit on Draw +270
1/4 unit on Ukraine to Advance +339

There always seems to be a surprise team in the semis of the WC, Ukraine fits the bill perfectly. They've got nothing to lose and the betting public figures to be all over Italy, who struggled mightily against Australia. This should be a tight, defensive match, so I'd be surprised to see Italy win by 2 or more. I win $ as long as Ukraine covers, and win big if they make it to extra-time and/or pull off the upset.

1/2 unit on France to Advance +230

Brazil has won all 4 of their matches, but France has gotten better every game and dominated a Spain team in the round of 16 that was unbeaten in their last 25. Gimme the French at better than 2-1.

Brazil defenders (Lucio and Juan) are playing well, the defence system is not doing good because the side backs aren´t playing well back there.
I think anyone that says Brazil is playing poor doesn´t understand that Brazilian team for Ghana´s game should have Robinho and Ronaldo in the attack, and it would look a lot more with the Brazil vs Japan match (which Brazil played really really well). But Robinho got injured and with Adriano we were playing like we played the 2 first games, really bad.
But, from now on, Robinho will play, and when he plays, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and Kaka appears more in the game, and when that happens Brazil is almost unstopable, like when Brazil beat Argentina 4-1 in the Confederations Cup Finals.
