You should still be stealing against unknowns just with a smaller range of hands than you normally would against people who don't know how to defend properly. You should be careful when stealing against unknowns, but not doing it with the right hands is dumb. |

grunch: if you are blind stealing... you have to follow up with one continuation bet at least on the flop... why did you check???
the hand would be completely different if you would of bet out on the flop, it's generally harder to steal the blinds when you are out of position |

Having position is a huge advantage and probably the biggest reason why stealing the blinds is profitable. Your stealing range shouldn't include T4o. JT+, QT+, K9+, A2+, 22+ is about what I steal with. |

It's worth it to steal. It's worth it to learn to steal and to defend. I'll say that your hand truly sucks though.
