[ QUOTE ]
Action is not opened in NL, being preflop or postflop has absolutely NOTHING to do with it

This is correct

[ QUOTE ]
If it is a no-limit game, it is not. (Requires a full legal raise to reopen the betting.)

[/ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ]

We don't know whether or not this was a full raise (since we don't know the size of the blinds), so it is not possible to figure out the correct answer.

Alright, since it doesn't seem like I left enough detail, it was preflop and the blinds were .50/1 so my initial raise was 3x the BB.

If the big blind was 1 dollar and you raised it to 3 dollars, that is a two dollar raise. The next player raised it all-in to 5.25 dollars, a 2.25 dollar raise. This is over the amount required to be a legal raise. The betting would be reopened when it got back around to you. You may raise, call, or fold.

If it is a limit game the betting is reopened to you. (raise more than half of normal raise all-in)

If it is a no-limit game, it is not. (Requires a full legal raise to reopen the betting.)

Quoted for truthiness. In addition, anyone who has not yet acted MAY raise but anyone who has already acted cannot.

[/ QUOTE ]

Requoted to point out that it's NOT 100% true- ask the floor people at the Taj Mahal in AC.

I was surprised to find out that they've implemented a "full bet = raise" rule for LIMIT games (now, if this was for only non-verbal raises, that wasn't made clear to me... but I didn't ask that specific question either)
