No pictures, but I have a cat question and this seems like a good place to post it.

Last Tuesday I had to take one(Ginny) of our two cats to vet. She had just started peeing in random places for no reason. They checked her out and gave her some medicine.

Now ever since we got back from the vet, my other cat Beatrice, acts like she doesnt recognize Ginny. They are 4 years old and sisters btw. She hisses and makes all of those weird noises cats do anytime Ginny tries to approach her. She even hisses when ginny comes into a room that she is in. Ginny never hisses back or anything though.

This sucks for a couple reasons. They were very close and loved to play. Also, the hisses and growls have been waking me up at night. The vet said just give it some time, but it has already been a week now. Any advice?

My wife's parents have sister cats and the same thing happens whenever they take one to the vet. Not sure how long it normally lasts though. It must be a smell thing, either from the vet or maybe from the medicine?

The only thing i can think of is to get the pissy cat used to the sick cat's smell. Something like petting the sick cat and then petting the other one. Don't know if that'll work or not...
