Ok, nomad, post the rest of the river action.

It does suck to call a raise, but i don't see any way around it. Fold for 2 more.

Hero bets, all 4 fold - it's not that interesting. I was just considering if a check/call to induce bluffs or worse aces to bet might not pay off more in the long run, and save me having to call the raise if I had been behind all along.

hah! your methodology is still results-oriented! I do think there is tons of value with betting this hand.

am i reading this hand backwards or something?

everyone just called on the turn and the river is the 3s (which doesnt complete the wheel)

the only hand we could be scared of her is AT, and that aint capping this river.

lots of lower 2 pairs are waiting for the safe river card to raise, as well as A3/3boardcardx that BB could have.

doing anything other than bet/3bet is just losing value imo.

Easy bet/call. I wouldn't 3bet since it opens us up to 2 more BBs on the river and low limit players loooove to slowplay the flush to the river.

furthermore, you are thinking that they would think like you think. In short, you are raising 2 raggy pair on this river (which is probably OK), but LPPs are not. Remember, they are thinking, but not like you.

I bet the flop and turn to keep free cards from lone [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]'s and to make another A pay too.

[/ QUOTE ]
I think there's some value in betting top two pair on the flop, too.

Bet/call the river (and be pleasantly surprised at the times you're ahead when calling a river raise).
