You are interpreting the 3 hands as some how making it worse, when really the fact that he lost it in 3 hands makes it less of a deal. I lost 2500 over 50,000 hands at playing 5/10 limit 6-max. Thats way worse. Do you know how much time I invested losing that 2500? I wish I could have lost it in a mere 3 hands. Then I could get right back to winning that same night.

Watch some $200/$400 NL on Prima. Players have lost $150k+ in one hand.
