Getting the most out of Stevie G and Lampard would need a tactical switch, as neither is well suited to playing the holding role. E.g. Carrick holding, with Gerrard, Lampard and Cole pushing forward. Something that adventurous is obviously beyond our bespectacled Swedish friend however...

The Czech are being incredibly overrated.
I voted for England but they need to sort out how to use Gerrard and Lampard together (as others have said).

it's england or spain. mexico should be up there too. brazil has a lot of talent in their midfield, but they lack a ball winner and ronaldinho is overrated (he's top 10 in the world, but he's near the bottom of the 10). most people forget it was considered an upset when he beat out lampard for euro/world player of the year.
