Multi tabling is not for everyone. Some people (me) can only do one thing well at a time or two things badly. This is not a bad thing though. By focusing on one thing at a time you will probably move up in limit more quickly.

I'm sorry, but I fail to see the reason for putting in a ton of extra bets just to get "control of the hand". I guess that's just not my style.

I prefer to only put in a ton of money when I have "the goods" or a reasonable expectation that my bet might drive out a better hand.

You can "have control" as long as you keep spewing chips when I have better cards.
