The biggest mistakes i see alot of begginers making are:
1. cold calling too many raises 2. over estimating moderate to weak suited hands 3. disregarding position Pre-flop play is fairly staight forward and can be learned by anyone. This alone can make a player close to a break even player. |

One of my holes when I started was bet size. I started off reading books so I was pretty good at hand selection, but when I got the hands to play, I didn't know how much to bet. This was fixed when I picked up Harrington's books.
