JJ and maybe 65s. That's it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why 65s over 22?

I have a hard time laying down KQs PF. It might be a leak but it has been a profitabe hand for me. I am still shaking out the ingrained limit tendancies I possess.

Assuming first orbit I only raise JJ. However, after that, I open raise with 22, AJs, and 65s roughly 30-40% of the time simply so my EP raises arent easily pegged as JJ+, AK.

"The correct answer depends on the table character.

You would do fine if folded all of those except JJ."

I would say thats way to nitty AJs 22 and also KQa are very playeble in a small stake game. Even if they dont show a huge profit in EP i really think they do show profit and it also adds posible holdings to the hands you play in EP and thats very important.

UL = Usually limp

Fold some of those hands (probably suited ace and the small pair) if you're likely to face a big raise.

Wow this looks horrible. Every one of these As is a fold UTG in full-ring. If you absolutely must play it, raising would be clearly better (but still bad in FR).

KQs is also a raise/fold hand for me. I raise it, but I'm very laggy in FR.

But limping with easily dominated TP-type hands that won't flop sets is just lighting money on fire.

I think everyone would do well to NEVER OPEN LIMP ANYTHING. That is, unless you care to let everyone know you've got a small pair or a suited connector. Cause would you limp/call AK? AQ? JJ?

To answer your question:

At 6-max, I'm open raising every one of those hands.

At FR, I'm open raising 22, JJ, and only occasionally KQs, AJs, and 65s when I'm feeling loose.

If I have the loosest maniacs in the blinds acting after me now, but before me later, and the rest of the table will be inclined to fold to an EP raise, I'll play a lot of these.

That isn't terribly unlikely, because that is the seat I'm looking for anyway.

If that isn't the case I should get up and leave the table.

Otherwise, JJ, 22, 65s will all get raised or limped.

Hardly anyone is tight enough in EP or loose enough in LP.

I think I am pretty tight EP. Any tips on opening up in LP?
