prunes have the fiber connotation, but they're not THAT packed and they usually come with fucktons of sweeteners. crap like "calories: 110. fiber: 3g. serving size: FOUR PRUNES." i like figs a lot better for a delicious, fiber-having natural snack. for the dried/bag variety i think mission is better, but for fresh ones (like the small plastic tubs at trader joe's) calimyrna wins.

i just finished a tub of calimyrna figs from trader joe's. i like the dried ones better though.

Oats is where it's at. Oatmeal is excellent. And it has both soluble and insoluble fiber!
