Re: KK Indecent turn card
a 16/6 raises two limpers from the sb but gets 3-bet.
he then check calls QT9 and donks a turn 8 into an army. he has JJ almost every time right? |

Re: KK Indecent turn card
Hmmm, right. I didn't give enough credit for JJ. That really hurts us. Yeah, Buck, this is much closer to a fold than a raise.

Re: KK Indecent turn card
:grunch:
Hero folds, smiles contentedly when he sees it would have come two bets back to him on the turn and SB flips AJ at showdown. |

Re: KK Indecent turn card
hmm ya... I agree that it would be hard to fold to a three bet. At the time I wasn't really thinking value raise; I just figured that if my hand were best, raising would be better than calling.

Re: KK Indecent turn card
Wow, what an annoying spot.
I can see myself, at the table, calling and praying. But even if SB doesn't have JJ (or AJ), it seems like it's entirely possible that someone behind you does have a jack. It looks to me like grudgingly folding is probably best. You'll rarely have the best hand, your outs are pretty tainted, and you're nowhere near closing the action. There is one reason for optimism, which is that SB may have flopped a set and then decided to slowplay, and then after that he may have switched plans on the scary turn card and decided to bet instead of checkraising. So, if you're behind, I guess you could still have 6 clean outs if the two limpers don't have a K or a J. It seems like a lot to hope for, though. |

Re: KK Indecent turn card
He might be value bluffing with 2 spades too.
And it might be raining whores from the sky. But I doubt it. |
