FWIW I think Vaughn is hilarious, along with Owen Wilson. Anyone who improvises most of the stuff in their movies is A-ok with me, which Vaughn is.

I thought Vaughn was fantastic in Swingers and Old School, pretty good in Wedding Crashers, Dodgeball, and Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

Even if you don't understand sportsbetting, these wagers can be explained in poker terms, such as deciding to call or not, depending on what price the pot is laying you. The pot was offering you 2:1 to call (you need 33% chance to make the call), so if you think your chance of winning is at least 33%, you have a +EV situation. Here, we had a 40%-50% chance of winning, so we made the wager.

Saw The Break-Up last night. Pretty funny. Not hilarious like Wedding Crashers, but a solid comedy. Some quieter serious moments, too, since it really was about a break up (strange seeing Vaughn in intentionally non-funny scenes), but many funny scenes.

Overall, thumbs up from me.

Oh, and bare Aniston butt makes an appearance.

omen comes out on 6-6-06...(tuesday) My guess is that it won't live up to the hype (although I'm not knowledgeable enough in this area to bet on it).

Not sure if wagers will be offered or not on The Omen. Like Jason said, it comes out on an odd date as a marketing ploy. But since that's next Tuesday, and lines normally come out on Wednesday or Thursday, they may not offer a weekend wager. I suppose if enough people e-mail them, they may offer a line on it on Monday.

I came in with low expectations about the Break-Up but Vaughn carried it when it needed to be, pretty solid movie, I laughed a lot. Not in the pantheon of "classic" comedies but still good none the less.

This one is going way over folks.

Friday = $13,785,000

Saturdays are higher than Fridays and Sundays are only a tiny bit less. I think we are looking at about $40M
