Can your opponent assume you raised here with AK? If so and he's still firing, Im guessing hes sitting on Q8s or something and value betting.

check/call down UI, bet an A, c/r a Q. 3-betting the flop is only going to let him fold worse hands/raise you on the turn, bet/folding the turn is asking to get blown off the best hand and if he does raise you i think you have odds to try and improve anyways. if he's semibluffing, he's probably unlikely to check behind on the turn, and if he does, well he has position so deal with it. worrying about free cards shouldn't be your biggest concern here. this is a 4-handed game. just get to showdown.

Meh, do whatever you want. I'd fight for this pot. You need to add small PPs to his range also. Many cold callers like to see flops with pairs but not 3-bet with them. I know I would raise this flop with a PP before I let it go.

how is calling down giving up on the pot? you don't need to "fight for it." if you 3-bet the flop do you expect him to call down with his underpair? if he's bluffing, let him keep bluffing, if he has the best hand, you'll save some money, and you won't have to ever fold the winner. there's no reason to go wild here with second pair.
