nada is live until the voting starts. all the auditions are already taped. i hear there is some amazing talent to come.

I'd love to jump on this also. What site should I register with and deposit money at to be prepared for this?

set up account at wsex. use the tell-a-friend with someone, and they get $50, which they should split with you.

then, keep up here. as soon as the markets open, there will be discussion. you can tell us what you think and get some plays from us.

JHE usually does *extremely* extensive googling and gets great info.

I made $650 last year, my first betting on AI (thanks mainly to following Granny Mae's advice). Not exactly a huge score but it certainly made watching the show with my wife a lot more fun. The only advice I can add is to second the poster who said check out the Television Without Pity boards occasionally. They often have good info - especially on who will be getting the pimp spot of closing the show the upcoming week. Most of the time, the person who closes the show is someone the judges think has been very good in rehearsals.

Other advice is to bet to make money, not to root for your personal favorites. I didn't like Constantine at all last year but he (along with Bo) was my big winner. My mistake was keeping some of my Bo's until the end - mainly because I liked Bo and was rooting for him to beat Carrie in the finals. Had I been betting objectively, I would have realized that, given Bo's price right before the finals, cashing in was the correct move.
