When someone asks if I read 2+2, I look at them like I don't know what they're talking about. No reason to look like anything other than an ignorant fish at the table.

Last night I said to a kid at my table "damn, where'd you learn to play this game?"

When he did not respond "'sup bro" I figured it was not here.

Why not just ask-" Do you read 2+2"

I'm shocked 32 minutes have passed since you made this suggestion and you have yet to get flamed by the first-rule-of-2+2-is-you-don't-talk-about-2+2 police.

OK then I'll flame him.

Alright, not a flame, but a suggestion: Ask away from the table. If the person is a decent poker player then it is about 100% guaranteed that they have at least HEARD of these boards.

and yeah - the first rule of fight club is what again?

if someone talks to me ill hold up a picture of a mountain on fire and claim to be jakethebake and ask if that counts as my 20,000 post.

or sometimes i actually just ask if they post on 2+2. that usually just seems easier.

Hi Barron:

It's okay to talk about Two Plus Two at the table. In fact, I wear my Two Plus Two shirt all the time to the poker room and when I sit down I'm usually asked if I read or post to Two Plus Two. Sometimes they'll even ask me what my posting name is.

best wishes,
Mason

Uh, Mason, if I had half your qualifications I'd probably announce/advertise also. Sadly, I don't, therefore I don't.

Besides, the way I play, probably no one would believe me!
