All turn folders - what if the turn was a K?

I'm with you up until the river Bobby. I think you made the bet to ensure a bet went in on the river for value, but I don't think there's much value here in him calling. Were you thinking something else? A mix of the chance he'll fold a better hand and call with a worse one?
Also, for a hand like this, I think you're better served leaving the villains action on the river off the post. - Jim |

Yep.
Flop and turn are fine against the right opponent. River bet is pretty bad though. |

If he steals north of 30% I'd never fold this flop. [/ QUOTE ] No [censored]. I think everyone saying fold the flop is pretty far off here. |

I think check-folding river is the right play, but it's pretty close (he calls with QJ KQ JT raises Ax KJ), bets Ax KJ KQ QJ, bets JT 9x less often.

Were you thinking something else? [/ QUOTE ] I bet the river for value. Honestly, there aren't any options I particularly liked on the river, which is what always makes me consider that I did something wrong earlier in the hand. Are you check-folding this river? I don't see why check-calling would be better than betting here since I think folding to a raise is pretty safe. |

I'd fold flop [/ QUOTE ] I wouldn't, unless he's a tight stealer. |
