making this type of play is not horrible. Pushing the flop is pretty good too as is pushing the turn when you now have the open-ended draw. Calling the bet is also a consideration here. It looks to me that you have about the right odds to call for your open-ended straight and you have more than the right odds if you can get paid off the rest of your chips if you hit. Did you consider it? The hand you don't want to see is 9J, but would he have called the preflop and not bet the flop with that hand? A flush draw could also hurt some outs, but give you more if doesn't have a pair. I think you should have folded preflop (make this move with something a bit better like TJs), pushed the flop, pushed the turn and called the turn bet in that order. So as you can see, I would have done everything differently <G>.
