Put your manlihood down for a second and just be rational. It's always best to be a defensive driver, don't just assume the other drivers out there will do the right thing. I've prevented at least 3 accidents in my driving career by assuming the other person is an idiot and acting accordingly.

Where's the "Fire a warning shot across his bow" option? I would have voted for that.

Gesture to him indicating that he has a flat tire. When he gets out of the car to check on it, slit his throat.

That was uncalled for and downright rude.

I asked TJ if he lived in Wisconsin because there is an exit for county highway S.S. off a four-lane highway.

This is why I try not to post in OOT, I don't know how y'all stand the constant trolling, I guess you just get used to it.

Tron-

I see that Snoop disapproves , I'm used to the banter on the strategy forums (it tends to a bit less caustic.)

OOT may not be for me

TJ, the big question here is "do I care about my car?" immediately followed by "do i have anyone else in my car?" If the answer to both is no, then its option c, behave normally and let the jackass hit me.

If i care about my car (given that getting sideswiped at 50mph here isn't going to total your car 90% of the time, so if i'm driving a nice car I care about then i'm going to take everything I can do to avoid it getting in an accident, especially one that doesn't total the car) then its defensive driving time, taking whatever action you can to safely avoid. If that's laying on the brakes or changing lanes, so be it. if you can't be sure the opposite lane is clear, you really don't want to switch lanes though - much much worse for you to hit someone trying to avoid the jackass instead of the jackass hitting you...
