It was even worse. After you started laughing she said, "yeah, i was HOPING you would do that" and gave a sly little chuckle (WTF, WORST ATTEMPT AT SAVING FACE EVER!!!!!!), to which I responded "No you didn't, nobody wants to get psych high-fived" and after she re-emphasized that she expected that to happen I left her with “no one has done that since 8th grade, how could you possibly have expected that?”

I then decided about two minutes was how long I'd have to wait before being able to successfully execute a psych high-five on you, which was pretty f'in sweet.

The cigarette thing deserves special mention. What actually happened was as you walked back dejected, you saw a spark of a cigarette being lit in some parked car a half block away and SPRINTED straight to the driver. Nice.

I'm surprised that you did not mention the "I don't speak English" blowoff from the Chinese chick later that night, that was ICE COLD.

I am glad to report that I started off my morning meeting haakee for brunch and the first interaction I had with a person today was me psych high-fiving him. Of course, cardo, it included the requisite run fingers through hair move.
