Better than most recent WPT events due to the laughter/joking and Scotty finally winning it all.

I learned a lot from Sexton last night. For one thing, I now know that last night's tournament was “not your $1/2 home game”. Thanks Mike!

Did anybody else think Raul looked like DeNiro in Taxi Driver?

I thought Scotty was the only drunk one, although he did well not to lose many chips to Gavin on a few hands.

I was dying of laughter as I read your post!

I might have to quit watching after that speech Scotty gave, sounds like they snorted to much coke the night before. He was getting deep a little too deep I woulda been embrassed if I was the grinder. I was routing for scotty until then but I knew the show was over but woulda been a riot if he woulda sucked out lol......

Horrible ruling by floorman there. I've only played at a few casinos but I didn't think "verbal bets are binding" was a house rule. Scotty should have to put in at least the mininum raise. (I can't believe I actually agreed with Sexton on something.)

Considering the play at the end they must have made a deal right?

deals are "not allowed" on the WPT. right....

I wouldn't be shocked if there was a deal. Very odd hand regardless. They were almost even in chips, blinds were high(but not really that high yet) and all the money gets put in on the first hand. AQs is a monster heads up. AJo is good hand but not great. I only like Mizrachi's call if he honestly believes Nguyen would make the same play with Ace-Rag. Otherwise you gotta put Scotty on either a PP or a bigger Ace in which case your drawing nearly dead or flipping a coin for 500k (diff. btwn 1rst and 2nd)

I missed it, did she actually rule that Scotty could just fold?
