I play 6max. But I absolutely love playing 3-handed/HU,and I will stay at a table when it starts breaking. It is very profitable if you can stomach the variance. Most online poker players at these stakes are absolutely lost at HU/shorthanded play. I will say that it does tend to reward some fishy play, like calling down with bottom pair (very often correct playing HU).

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I think I'm just gonna move back to full-ring and play 15/8 nitty poker. [/ QUOTE ] I take offense to that! [/ QUOTE ] Why, because you play a 15/8 game and think you're way too loose for full-ring, or because you play full ring and thing that anyone playing higher than 15/8 is a LAG donk? [/ QUOTE ] Because I'm a nit and I hate when my sets don't get paid off. |

I would play HU exclusively if I could, but there seems to be a lack of HU tables under .25/.50 NL and my roll cant handle that right now, so im sticking to 6 max. But i agree HU and 3 max seem to be extremely profitable, and given the choice all i would play.

I can't 6-table when it gets to HU or 3 or even 4-handed. Reads and dynamics are much more important when it gets that short. So I try to stick to 6-max where all the seats are filled.
