stupid home games are the only thing that makes poker fun anymore, that and winning a car in a session, along with seeing how many drinks you can throw down before youre no longer the favorite in a 30/60 game (i plan on doing this this week). you must use alcohol though. if youre gonna sit around grinding 1/2 stud for 5 hours then you might as well kill yourself. its more fun when youre playing with people who know how to play then it is to play with people who have no clue. when you donk around in a game with novices youre only amusing yourself whereas if you donk around in a game with people who know how to play it can be quite entertaining. its unfortunate that im not a drug user because playing poker high on some hallucinogenics might be fun too.
