Default Re: Does this player have implied odds?

Why the minraise on the flop?

You're taking maximum risk for minimum reward here letting him know you have a big hand, and not adequately charging him for the draw.

If you want to slowplay or control pot size, call. If you want to raise, raise so he has inappropriate odds.

You can't do both...

If I saw this flop raise from you, I'd assume I had implied odds too.

No offense intended.

Edit 1: Also, if you use a hand converter to post hand histories it makes it much easier to follow and properly analyze.

Edit 2: As for the pot control/slowplay option I mentioned, I would definitely NOT go that route on this hand.

You min raised his bet!

Here is your sign!!!

He definitley had implied odds to chase. Don't know how you can say he did not when he got your entire stack! You reopened betting on a very dangerous board. From playing him you had to know it was a possibility he could be playing any two cards.

Here is his sign for playing kd/3d in ep.

Here is your sign for playing a set of 5's like they were the nuts on on a straight board!

I would have known I had implied odds on the min raise. That simple little bet tells me everything I need to know about a player!

If you cannot spot the fish in the first few orbits then you are it!
