That's ridiculous. You can play in 1 day what I play in a month 2 tabling.

good luck guess its not really fun

No it's not. It's reminding me why I only get on 20 hours a week. Poker is boring as crap for a job.

this truly sucks and i'm freaking tired.

I've played over 12k hands today and I'm down about $1k (but have been making a nice comeback lately...the donks are especially donkey-ish on this XMas Eve)

Hope we can both make it. If we do then I'll hand-deliver that long overdue postcard I wsa supposed to send you from last year's cruise.

Down $1k? So what is your BB loss total then? 1300bbs?

Also can somebody give me a quick rundown of this promotion or a link? What do you guys gotta do to get a free cruise?

You are gold aren't you Bob? I really wish I was as I'd be done by tomorrow afternoon.

I've only got 2 hours before I have to leave again, so I'll maybe get 10k hands today.

Anyways, so far:

8641 hands
+$2100
1.45 BB/100 (according to PT)

I'm seriously going to go insane before I finish this.

First 30 players to get 25,000 regular party points can buy a cruise for 50k party points. I have very little chance, but the fact that Bob thought this and still got one last year has me hopeful.

You win a $10,200 entry to the PP Million V, $800 spending cash, and a 7 night cruise for 2 to the Cayman Islands and Mexico.

Yeah..something like that.

Impressive, no??

I have a stop-loss of $2500 for this...which I would obviously prefer not to reach...but I think the chances of getting the cruise are worth this investment.
Unfrotunately, I have to paly at 5/10 and 10/20 to even have a prayer of making it.

After this is done I'll be grinding on low-limit rake-back/prop type sites for REAL income where I can practically make an income even if I were to fold every hand (which might be a better option considering my crappy play and general chip-spewing abilities).

also unfortunately, I'm only in the silver club AND points aren't accruing quite as fast as I had originally projected.

I didn't know that Party did their status-level thing by the quarter. it's extremely vague on their web-site.
I had been depositing semi-regulartly to build my points...and I was like 2k points short of gold when the quarter suddenly ended. I had no idea that made a difference.

Anyway, I'm stuck in silver for a few more days and am just grinding out point after point. And trying to not lose my whole bankroll chasing after this stupid damn cruise thing.

At 9,724 hands and I hit a downswing, so I'm only +$900 now for a really crappy winrate. Can't complain I guess. 10 tabling screws with my concentration.

Anyways, what time do they update your Party Points for the previous day?

I won't be back until after midnight EST tonight, so I'm done for day 1 and almost 1/3 of the way there. I'll be able to pick up the pace in days 2 and 3 as there is less Christmas stuff to do.

Bob,

My hope is that not very many people try this and we can be shoe-ins if we finish in 3-4 days. Worked for you last time.

10-tabling 6max is really really sick.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think I could do 12 before I'd max out. Once I get my 3rd monitor going I'm going to try doing 10 party and 2 absolute tables at once.
