They are saying the C/R is the right line if he flopped TPTK or TPsbK I think. Though I think I would check/call down with ace queen.

For some reason I'm thinking OP got shown 99o after folding.

What 2+2er bets this flop?

[/ QUOTE ]

This was my first thought. He could either be doing a very tricky third-level thinking bluff if he knows your a 2er, or just be not that good of a 2er with an A. Most likely the latter.

Check/raising will often win the least.

This is a terrible cap from MP. What hand range do you put this guy on preflop? Note that the 1/3 SB at $3/$6 is an extra problem because it discourages light action from small blind.

Neither of us are saying SB should check-raise this flop, True.

so you guys are saying sb should checkraise with AK? Would this basically be to get the last .5BB we can out of MP as leading out will fold his entire range that we beat? possibly be sexy enough to make KK think we are making a play without the ace?

Neither of us are saying SB should check-raise this flop, jschaud.

If I were SB, I'd be check-calling or check-folding the flop the vast majority of the time.

If I were SB and had AK, there's a number of possible lines we could take but few of them involve c/ring the flop for fear of folding out the guy that we're beating. Making MP not believe we have an ace by check-raising is one of those trickey third level things I mentioned, but I think in reality he'll usually fold to a raise unless we have a really strong read (which is bad, since he's drawing to 1 out).
