No, we do not attach bills to others. Almost always, the governement in power introduces the bill the want to pass and then it gets debated. I beleive it needs three reading in the house in order to pass.

There is zero chance of interent gambling to be banned.

While this is true, there is a private memebers bill that was presented in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario that looks to ban online gambling ads from all media. Of course, it's being driven by the horse racing industry and Woodbine specifically. Another amazing case of short-sightedness. Where do they think all the people that go to the track (and the casinos at the track) come from?

Doesn't look like it will pass, but the big media players take notice and it will probably do alot of harm even as it fails.
