I think I might of screwed up already, when I replied to the scammers email, I sent it from my email addy which has my real name on it [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] I'd prefer to screw with this guy anonymously.

No way you can really scam him. You could have him send the check and keep the PS3, but even if you receive a cashiers check it will be a fake and you won't be able to cash it.

most scam organizations work on a tier system. they have people that most likely dont speak english sending out the form emails all day. when they get a response from some like you, they forward those on to someone else that may speak english and can tailor responses.

i goofed around w/ one once and i the first two emails came from a yahoo address. the other emails came from a hotmail address.

if you wanted to switch addresses at this point, the scammers wouldnt know the difference. they get so many emails they dont know what's going on.
