Anyhooo... I have been a teaching assistant for this class four times in the past and have received favorable evaluations from the students. I'm more dreading the grading because I know from experience that this is a very tedious task.

This doesn't happen as much as poorly written TV shows and porn sites would have you believe. In my two years of being a teaching assistant this has never even come close to happening.

I think that every teaching assistant would agree grading is the worst part (assuming you don't try to commit a horrible ethics violation).

I was kinda referring to kids who do really well in their classes but still have no respect for how good the professors really are because they think its adult to complain because you are paying for it....bleh...its a pointless peeve and im sure ive been guilty at times....

but anyway good luck....teaching would be a dream job...so much freedom..

I would say ~75% of the students in the engineering dept. are male.

Male students can be desperate for grades too.
