Of course the KOTKP events are in and of themselves terrific and need no embellishment. Thats a given.

But it occurs to me that a calcutta pool associated with it might also be fun. It would go something like this:

Blind auction of ownership anyone can bid to buy anyone. (Probably with a minimum and maximum allowable bid) Highest bidder owns the player. Anyone or any consortium can bid on anyone including themselves. You can bid on and buy more than one player of course. Winning owner takes the pool or it could be 50% win, 30% place, and 20% show.

I'm thinking a fairly low bid range- something like $1 minimum to $10 maximum. Some kind of bid off for ties. Possibly the tied bidders rebid with maximum removed.

All monies transferred through stars accounts. We can choose a treasurer by popular acclaim.

Naturally subject to moderator approval.

If interest in this appears to be sufficient I will solicit your input on the details. If not it will drop off the horizon.
