Default 3

Getting 5:1, right? How often does he have to do this with a strong ace or A7 or A3 or QQ or whatever to make the call? I mean, against a 40/35, he can hardly shut down every time the board completes a backdoor flush or straight. He might just be going for value here with a good pair or two pair. A bluff is pretty unlikely, but is it 0% unlikely?

So yeah, I think a raise would be stupid, and there's not much difference between a fold and a call, but that a call is slightly better.

This is obviously the correct answer. This is a pretty standard hand.

You think getting paid off by a weak ace calling a 3-barrell is more +ev than letting him bluff the flush or getting raised like this (possibly on a bluff)? I think river is an easy c/c. Your river bet is very rarely getting value.

This is resultoriented. Hes calling the river with an ace much more often than hes turning his hand into a bluff. If we check we lose too much value against Ax which probably check behind

believe it or not, I folded, button said something along the line of "thanks for paying my boat off with a three barrel" and I loled.

its up for debate if he flopped it or turned it.

You don't beat anything he's repping and that's a pretty terrible bluff-bet by him if he is bluffing.
