I actually don't think this fold is that bad either, we're [censored] pretty often by UTG, and BB sometimes will show up with a set as well.
Turn bet size sucks also, obv. |

I hate the turn bet size but I can understand the fold. I can't see a solid player raise here with AA/AK (especially after the flop), maybe AhKh because he smelled weakness on your part and does not respect the fish.

you too can have a bad beat story, it only would cost you a half a buy in. I don't fold sets my self. bad fold, what did you expect to hit with 66?

Man what the hell are you guys talking about? The flop gets checked through on a dry board, and then a tight, straightforward pre-flop raise/caller COLD SHOVES into two raises. Plus, the guy who 3bet PF and then min-raised the turn is left to act behind the OP.
What does UTG have given PF actions? A lot of small/medium pocket pairs, Is he going to flat call a tiny 3bet with AA , with Hero behind getting good set odds? Never. AK? Maybe occasionally. Flop, he checks through a lot of pocket pairs, and sets sometimes. He bets AK most of the time. Turn, he's forced to raise up his good hands when Hero and BB are trading small bets, in case there is a draw out (which there now are, given the turn card). He bluffs never, given Hero and BB are betting tiny on the turn. He might have gotten here with AK, but we certainly can't give the AK combos even close to full weight against the set combos in Villain's range. Hero's getting about $610 to $315 on the call, with BB to act behind, I think it's a fold. |
