Default Re: Prima \"Stealing Focus\" Problem ~ Cash Reward

[ QUOTE ]

To start with I need:

a) An example of the string in the titlebar of a table.
b) The name of the process that runs.

Can't promise when I'll get time though.

Awesome Juk.

A) "Hold 'em Real Money" or "Hold 'em Real Money No Limit" or the skin name, for me it is "Purple Lounge"
B) MPPoker.exe

for a) do you mean just what is included in the brackets? Or the entire title of the window?
For the battlefield skin it's:
Battlefield Poker - (6 Seat Table) - YourScreenName - Blinds $X/2X TableNameHere [Hold'em Real Money No Limit]

edit: b) for battlefield poker it is the same as other skins, MPPoker.exe

Just a mini FYP if that would have caused any problems.

I think I found something to change this.
you can timeout the focus of all programs in windows.
So this will be a timeout and not a disable... and for all windows programs. Don't know yet if it's usable.

http://www.erichkolb.com/wp/2005/04/...ocus-settings/
Change Microsoft Windows Application Focus Settings

When Windows applications require user input or focus, they will either pop-up over the existing window, or their icon will flash on the taskbar waiting for user action. This tweak controls that behavior. This tweak requires the modification of two values, depending on the way you would like applications to take the focus. The first setting controls whether applications simply steal the focus, that is pop-up over the existing in focus window, or if instead they wait in the background and flash the taskbar icon. The second setting controls the flashing of the icon. Open your registry and find the key below. Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value named ‘ForegroundLockTimeout’, change the value to either the timeout required, or to ‘0′ which causes the application to take the focus instantly. The default value is ‘200000′ (0×00030d40 hex). The other settings affects the number of times the icon flashes if above value was not set to zero. Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called ‘ForegroundFlashCount’ set the value (in decimal) to the number times to flash the taskbar icon, setting the value to ‘0′ cases the icon to flash infinitely. The default value is ‘3′. Exit your registry, you may need to restart for the changes to take effect. Registry Settings User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop] Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value) Disclaimer: Modifying the registry can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. We cannot guarantee that problems resulting from modifications to the registry can be solved. Use the information provided at your own risk.

edit: If someone knows a fix for crypto as well, I'm interested

I haven't tried it but it seems that it change the focus for all the applications, and that can be annoying for a lot of others apps.

No way to make that modification apply to only the poker client?
