A lot higher pct. can't find Iraq on a map, who cares [/ QUOTE ] But it's not a big deal. The invisible hand of democracy ensures that, while an individual may make poor choices, many individuals working together brings out the wisdom of the vox populi and ensures that government is truly in everyone's best interests. There everyone, see how ridiculous that sounds? |

Even if it was a tenth of the people it would still piss me off. I can't decide whether it is the quality of religion or the stupidity of the population. |

"Do we hear much about this in the mainstream media? No. Not at all."
Not nearly as many people would believe this without the mainstream media. Before Vietnam and Watergate, the mainstream media was essentially a cheering section for the government. It was reporters in the mainstream media who showed people that the crimes of Vietnam and Watergate were not just wrong or mistakes, but that they were deliberate and criminal. Vietnam and Watergate, combined with skpeticism about the Warren Commission report, were the real beginnings of conspiracy theory popularity in the U.S. |

Stuff like the hijackers being under US and israeli surveillance |

Go start a thread in the Relgion and Philosophy forum stating that 90% of Americans believe in God and see what type of responses you get.
