If the 200bb villain was the UTG raiser, I would say calling preflop this deep is very standard and good. Since it's some random guy that I'm assuming is tight UTG, preflop is a fold - but really I don't think it's that bad and it's not at all the point of the hand.

Anyways, I would still raise the flop. He might fold (it is a *range* we're against here that includes more than sets), it may help disguise your hand, you might get flat called and have a chance to take a free one one the turn, or he might make a foolishly small 3bet and begin to feel committed with his set in the event that you make your hand on the turn.

I would not say you played the hand poorly, though.
