Well, I would start exercising some pot control on the flop...maybe you think its weak, but I don't really think a flop check or a 1/2 pot all the way down is bad here.

As played 80ish on turn.

pot control is nice and everything but there is waaaaaay too much value on this flop to check imo.

hate checking the flop and putting ourselves in a defensive position when there are various cards on the turn that make the board sorta scary.

I don't think it's value as much as hand protection, which is essentially the same thing, but in one case we are hoping for a call and in one we are hoping for a fold.

This deep, there are all kinds of options here. I'd rarely check the flop, but I might gaybet it, or 1/2 pot it, or I might 1.5x overbet. The "standard" 3/4 or whatever just doesn't feel like it's getting me much of anywhere.

As played, b/f turn, if called, river c/c depending on amount etc.

Not sure how the session was going but if he had reason to be floating againgst u the double barrel takes care of that...still has some aces, pps in his range on that front...then again it would depend on his fold to cbet %. If he raises turn, well..even if he doesn't already have you beat, he could have some nice combo draws, including top pair ones KJ etc with that turn card.
