Heck, if you want to become a winner, you should NEVER give up. Only when you give up do you become a loser.

get real job. save money for roll. When you get decent enough roll, try playing for real.
repeat when necessary. If you only tweak out a little profit, keep working and enjoy your added income. Playing professionally is a pipe dream to most, but if you can eek out extra income using your superior skills and drive, then you should be happy with that. |

Why are you cashing out?
Starting from $100, you could build up to decent levels quickly. But only by using the money you win to move up levels. If you keep withdrawing to drop down to 100, you will always be playing too small to even think about playing for a living. On the other hand, everyone has a sweet spot for ROI. It may just happen that your sweet spot is playing $5 NL with a 100 roll. If that is the case, just play as a hobby and enjoy the $50/month or so you are profiting - and don't torture yourself about wanting to go pro. |

I deposit 4 years ago 50$ and played without reading a book. I never deposit again and was a winning player after 3 weeks. I play low stakes and dont make a million but it was enough for a few vacations, a sport car, and a bit mone for the stock market........so my advice GIVE UP

Playing part-time is just much more enjoyable. If you put half of the effort into a professional career as you would need to be successful at poker, you will defintiely go places. If down the road you are doing very well at poker you can gradually step it up until you can play full time. Don't forget that at some point you are going to want the benfits that come with a job including a retirement plan, helath benefits, paid vacation etc. At your age these things don't seem to matter but as you get older you will realize how important they are.
