I would have raised preflop to isolate. Since you didn't and missed the board I would have folded. No use getting into a race early on. Even if you win, you're not really guaranteed to make it into the money, especially since you like to race.

to simplify it for you jafeather:
dont push preflop with aq this early in a sng, try and see the flop as cheaply as possible. on this flop call the all in, your are getting over 4/1 with potentially 15 outs, its an easy call. i am explaining two different situations in one post, i guess i didn't make it that easy to understand. |

Pre Flop The first time I would not think it is a shove against limper,min-raiser and cold caller even in a $3. Thus its call or fold first time but push the second time.
As played easy push on the flop. Your showdown equity will not be reduced if 2-3 Players call behind and there is now enough in the pot to do this. You always should but your touney life at risk when it is correct to do so. |
