I think it is a pretty interesting question/analysis, and I would assume so do the people responding.

A pointless question would be who would win a PLO game between:
Easter Bunny
Santa Claus
Tooth Fairy
Goldilocks

5-handed I'd have to give it to Ditka, but HU it'd be Santa. He's ruthlessly aggressive but ends up spewing too much when it's 4+handed. The Tooth Fairy is a nit.

its only pointless because the only way mike ditka would lose is if he could only see the backs of his own cards while holding them to face the opponents, he wasnt allowed to call or bet, and at least one of the other opponents was mike ditka as well.

and even then, the two ditkas would chop the pot every time.

Not true. Even to imaginary characters mike ditka loses. He traded 7 picks for ricky williams. Personally I favor Goldilocks. She only goes with cards that are "just right". Tooth Fairy is a big donator.

It has more to do with the players ability/drive to learn about the game than the skills they learned playing another game.

I could be a great razz player but pick up omaha better than a NLHE player if i put more time, effort, and study into PLO than the other guy.
