I used to limp AQ and stopped. How about KQ?

My old thinking was if fish had a better kicker they would raise, so if it when to the flop, I would have the best hand.

I always folded to a raise and now I fold these preflop.

To the AQ limpers, do you limp KQ? And how do you respond to raises?

if i ever limp AQ, it's usually limp/fold. i dont even bother with KQ unless it's like otb with limpers.

Here's my thoughts since I started this thread:

Limp: IMO, this is the worst option. It seems to me that more often than not you will get yourself into more trouble than you bargained for by encouraging multi-way action in an un-raised pot where you have terrible position. What if an A comes on a coordinated flop and there are 4 players to act behind you? You are stuck in a terrible spot. Even worse, by limping you encourage Ace rag hands to call, and when they hit 2 pair on the flop, you are almost certainly getting stacked.

Raise: this seems ok to me, if you get re-raised small (i.e. min, or just a hair more) I think you can profitably call. If you get re-raised big, you can easily dump it without investing too many chips. If you get called, I think it is a lot easier to play a flop with AQo (even OOP) against just one or two opponents.

Fold: This also seems fine to me too. You're avoiding trouble early (which to me seems very important in SnGs), even though you may be giving up some value (which is mainly why I made this poll)

When I raise to 80 I'm never calling a reraise that's more than 180 total.

Srsly? If you get min-reraised, that's only 60 more to call into a pot of at least 220.

for those saying limp, are you folding to a raise from MP? how about a raise and 3 calls?

[/ QUOTE ]

Umm it depends.
It seems like you are trying to create a perfect formula here.

considering AQ is the worst hand I'll ever open before 50/100, feel free to reraise me light all you want.

[censored], need to stop giving out notes on myself.
