There are 3 ways to deal with this.

1. Explain to the dealer that you would appreciate if he not give other players information on your playing style
2. Playfully say "one player to a hand" and he/she should get the idea. This is a decent nonconfrontational approach.
3. Talk to the floor when you are away from the table, and make sure they agree to speak with the dealer that his chatter is very inappropriate.

#3 is prob your best bet. Dealers should know to NEVER do this. options #1 and #2 will prob result in the dealer not doing it with you, but really, the dealer shouldn't do it with ANYONE.

There's nothing good ever coming of it, it's just bad practice for dealers to get into it.

IMO

Dealers should not be commenting upon any play of the hand.

Their job is to direct the flow of the game by making sure there is order and accuracy, period.

Thanks nobody knew that.

I think 2 and 3 are terrribbleee but 1 I don't mind at all.

You know who kills me? Thomson or whatever. I remember one time I cold-3bet the turn with KT on a QJ49 board in an enormous pot and at showdown he was like "How do you call there everyone knows what he has!" Hey you know what? Shut the [censored] up, seriously. He's always doing stuff like that too. I've given him several like subtle suggestions GAH.

$10 says Thomson is in question at least somewhere in this thread.

By the way, his name is Josh, not Jay.

I didnt say anything on any of these occasions (hand 1 actually occured to a friend but I included it as an example) I continued to tip the dealer as normally and didn't tell the floor or anything.

I was just curious how people would react.

Only hand 3 bothered me slightly.

If it bothers you, just let them know away from the table. No big deal

Was this at the Borg? If so, that's pretty rare. Most of the dealers there don't do anything such as this.

Even so, I wouldn't get into a huff about it in the situations that you described. If it persists or really bothers you, then mention it to the dealer as an aside, as has already been suggested.

If it happened to me I would post it on 2+2, thereby getting a dealer vs. player debate started; we don't have enough of those.
